Proper Pesticide Disposal
Not all pesticides are designated hazardous waste. Hazardous waste is identified as having the following charcteristics: ignitability, corrosivity, reactivity, or toxicity. If a pesticide is listed in OAC Rule 3745-51-33 or 3745-51-24, or exhibits a hazardous characteristic, it is deemed hazardous waste at the point when its user decides to discard it.
