    Wood-Destroying Insect Inspection Training (for Category 12) Thursday, November 12 This program is an online webinar and will meet the mandatory training for licensing in the Wood-Destroying Insect Inspection (Category 12) as required under the Ohio regulation. Training is conducted by the Ohio Pesticide Safety Education Program, Ohio State University Extension, and the Ohio Department of Agriculture, Pesticide and Fertilizer Section.     This training program provides an overview of pesticide safety information. Everyone attending the morning session will receive documentation that they have met the requirements of Trained Serviceperson training. The afternoon sessions will review Ornamental Weed Control (Category 6c). Attendees will then choose between Industrial Vegetation (Category 5) and Turf (Category 8) for the final afternoon session.

  5. Aug 19, 2020 (All day)

    This training program provides an overview of pesticide safety information. Everyone attending the morning session will receive documentation that they have met the requirements of Trained Serviceperson training. The afternoon sessions will review Ornamental Weed Control (Category 6c). Attendees will then choose between Industrial Vegetation (Category 5) and Turf (Category 8) for the final afternoon session.

  6. Jul 8, 2020 (All day)

    This program will meet the mandatory training for licensing in the Wood-Destroying Insect Inspection (Category 12) as required under the Ohio regulation. Training is conducted by the Ohio Pesticide Safety Education Program, Ohio State University Extension, and the Ohio Department of Agriculture, Pesticide and Fertilizer Section.

    This training is offered for individuals preparing to take the state exams for Category 10A (General Pest Control) to become licensed pest control applicators. This training will also be helpful for anyone managing pest problems in structures or pest control professionals desiring a comprehensive review.
