Commercial Pesticide Waste

Always refer to "Storage and Disposal" section on the pesticice label, and the Safety Data Sheet for basic disposal instructions

Excess pesticides and rinsates may be applied to a site listed on the pesticide label (don't exceed label rate)
Some pesticides may be returned to the manufacturer, eg. refillable containers
If the active ingredient is listed on OAC Rule 3745-51-33 or 3745-51-24, or if the contents exhibit one or more characteristics of a hazardous waste, the pesticide must be disposed of at a permitted facility that accepts hazardous waste. Otherwise, it may be disposed of as solid waste.
Suspended or recalled pesticides under the Federal Insecticide Fungicide and Rodenticide Act can be managed as Universal Waste
