WPS Inspection Checklist (pdf file) - checklist of WPS provisions that may be subject to inspection. Spanish for Greenhouse Supervisors - Ohio State University Extension Bulletin 900. Includes CD-Rom with Spanish pronunciation. Available at your county OSU Extension office.
WPS Overview (pdf file) - article written by Joanne Kick-Raack, OSU Extension, that appeared in the Ohio Floriculture Association newsletter. IPM program at University of California-Davis has a website listing various Spanish factsheets on IPM and pesticide safety.

"WPS How to Comply Manual - What Employers Need to Know" (available through EPA or Gempler's)
This 144 page manual provides the information necessary to comply with the requirements of the 1992 Federal Worker Protection Standard

WPS Worker Handbook (available through PEP Office or EPA)
"Protect Yourself from Pesticides - Guide for Agricultural Workers (Protejase de los Pesticidas - Guia para los Trabajadores Agricolas)" -- workbook written in English and Spanish

WPS Handler Handbook (available through EPA, Gempler's)
Official "Handler Guide" as developed by EPA and the USDA Extension Service. Comprehensive training manual, written in terms that employees can understand with good use of illustrations and trainer's notes.

WPS Notebook for Trainers of Workers (available through EPA, Gempler's)
Provides useful WPS background and recommendations for effective training onhow to cover the 11 worker training concepts.

WPS Pesticide Safety Poster (available through OSU Pesticide Education Program office)
Glossy, 4-color poster that depicts a variety of agriculture. EPA approved, but has ODA logo. Limited quantities available for free.

WPS Flip Chart with Easel (available through OSU Pesticide Education PRogram office)
This portable, easy-to-use training tool covers all WPS "worker" training requirements. Flip chart is EPA approved. Audience sees illustartions on one side of flip chart while trainer reads from bilingual notes on backside. One copy was delivered to each county in 1995.

WPS Official Pesticide Safety Poster (available through EPA and Gempler's)
This poster must be displayed on agricultural establishments at a central location. Poster is a full-color reproduction of the official EPA format. Pictorials have Spanish and English captions. Printed on card stock for durability.

WPS EPA Heat Stress Guide (available through EPA and Gempler's)
This 56-page manual was weritten to help private and commercial applicators and agriucltural employers protect their workers from heat illness. It applies recognized heat stress management principles to the particular conditions of agriculture.

WPS PPE Training Kit (available through OSU Pesticide Education Program office, EPA and Gempler's)
A new kit that includes a life-size mannequin. Made of durable 350# double wall cardboard. Easy to assemble and designed so that the respirator, goggles and baseball hat fit securely. It is reusable, easy to store and lightweight for travel.

Pesticide Handlers and the WPS (handler)
Michigan State University (1994). Highly recommended for handlers. One copy has been distributed to each Ohio county.

Pesticide Safety - Help Workers Protect Themselves (worker)
St. Joseph Co. Michigan State University Extension. Good tape for Ohio audiences. Targeted at vegetable industry but good all-around Midwest agriculture tape. One tape was supplied to each county.

Greenhouse Pesticide Safety Training (worker/handler)
Floriculture Greenhouse Ind. Alliance (1995). Excellent tape for greenhouse audiences. Distributed limited copies to county agents working with greenhouse growers.

Chasing the Sun (workers)
National Migrant Res. Program (1994) For migrant worker audiences. Focus on personal hygiene and pesticide safety.
