Classes begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 3:30 p.m.
Special note: you'll need to attend the entire day to meet the five hours required for an Ohio commercial license.
Pre-registration closes at midnight, January 18, 2014. Mailed registrations must be received by January 24, 2014. Registration includes morning and afternoon conference breaks and conference proceedings book.

Ohio State University departments must use the eRequest system for payment. Please list Pesticide Safety Education Program, Ohio State University Extension, as the vendor.
On-Site Registration Fees:
On-site registration will be available starting at 7:45 a.m. on January 31, 2014 at the conference site. On-site registration includes morning and afternoon conference breaks and conference proceedings book.

Special Rate for Waterpark and Rooms at Kalahari
Conference attendees can take advantage of reduced rates the indoor water park: $109 for four passes and hotel room the night of January 30. The same is available for the night of January 31 for $199. Reservations must be made by December 31 and ask for the group code: OSU Extension Pesticide Safety Education Program. Reservations can be made by calling 877-525-2427
Reciprocity is available for licensed commerical pesticide applicators who hold licenses in other states. At the conference in Sandusky, you may receive credit for the states below. To determine the amount of credit for each state, please visit the website or call the individual state's licensing agency.

Exams begin at 10:30 a.m.
Exams are offered at the conference site by the Ohio Department of Agriculture and are not part of the conference program. All categories exams will be available at the conference site.

Transferring, Cancellation and Refund Policies:
If you cannot make a location because of plowing snow, sickness, or other circumstance, you have the option to transfer your registration to another 2014 conference for no additional charge. You need to call T&M Services at 419-466-4145 immediately after missing a conference to transfer your registration. Transferring can only be done between Ohio Commercial Pesticide Applicator Conferences held in Dayton (Jan. 30), Sandusky (Jan. 31), Akron (Feb. 19), or Columbus (March 6). After the Columbus conference on March 6, you will no longer be able to transfer your registration and could request a refund.
There is a $25 processing charge for any refunds. No refunds will be given after March 31, 2013. There is a $30 fee for returned checks.

Commercial Pesticide License Requirements
To keep a commercial pesticide applicator license current, applicators must take 5 hours of recertification credit every 3 years. The specific requirements are:
1 hour of Core required
+ 1/2 hour in each category on applicator license required
+ additional time in any category (after completing 1 hour of core and each category requirement)
= 5 hours of time for recertification
